The Uruguayan Confederation of the CREA Groups (FUCREA) is the organization that joins all the CREA Groups that develop activities inside the national territory.
FUCREA is an Institution of long path in the agricultural area, that since 1966 counts on great recognition to national and international level.
FUCREA is today a referring institution on Groups dynamics aspects, integral Management of agricultural companies, elaboration and execution of projects, consultancies and agricultural extension. Likewise, it is emphasized also by the quality of the information that generates and the activities that carries out.
The CREA Methodology has origin in groups of producers arisen in France after World War Two. Continuing the French model, the first Uruguayan CREA began to work over forty years ago; and in 1966 four groups already established founded the Uruguayan Confederation of CREA Groups.
The CREA Method is based on the work in group of the farm producers. By means of the exchange between peers and the discussion on concrete problems of the grounds, the producers achieve family and business solutions, for thus reach also the personal development of each one of their members.
The central activity of a CREA Group is the monthly meeting, that is carried out each time in a different establishment. This activity, carried out monthly, generates a unique dynamics, arisen from the needs of each member, that conducts to the work tools search that contribute solutions to the real problems.
For the support in the compliance of its objectives, each group hires a CREA Advisor, who carries out the tasks of coordination and support to the group activities, and assist it technically.
CREA GROUPS IN URUGUAY
In Uruguay as in Argentina, there are agricultural groups, cattle raisers, agricultural-cattle raisers, innkeepers and farmers.
Our Group FreshBerries of Uruguay, belongs to the farmer group that joins different fruit producers. The formation of the Group dates from May 2008.
The Confederation is financed mainly with the contribution of each one of the groups, as well as of its Annual Sponsors.
